BECOME A MEMBER
MEMBERSHIP FEES: There is a ‘full member in good standing’ annual membership fee of $120 USD. Membership fees can be paid either in one installment or 3 installments – via direct payment to the TAA Business Account at Capital One Bank, or by Credit Cards – through PayPal (PayPal account holders should use the org’s e-mail: taa@tooroamericanassociation.org and or call 4067029631. Cash/checks to Treasurer/ Deputy Treasurer are also welcome. However, a member is only considered a ‘full member in good standing’ after the entire amount has been paid. The membership period is one (1) calendar year (from January 1st – December 31st).
A TAA ‘full member in good standing’ is Mutooro, or Friend of Tooro who has paid the annual membership fee, supports the TAA, and actively participates in the organization’s deliberations and activities. The benefits of being a TAA ‘full member in good standing’ include but are not limited to voting on projects the association should undertake, spending and fundraising activities, changes to by-laws, other matters with legal implications, discounted ticket prices for TAA organized and/or sponsored events, etc.
FRIENDS OF TAA: Although, TAA is primarily based and operating in North America, all Batooro and friends of Tooro from all corners of the earth are welcome. NO MONEY is necessary to contribute your ideas or to join the noble efforts of this organization.
